NAME
       maildircmd - pipe a maildir through a command

SYNOPSIS
       maildircmd dir prefix command


DESCRIPTION
       maildircmd  scans  a  maildir, dir, and pipes each message
       through command.	 It ignores any message	 whose	recipient
       address does not begin with prefix.

       maildircmd  removes  messages successfully handled by com-
       mand, based on the exit status  of  command.   It  bounces
       messages permanently rejected by command back to the enve-
       lope sender, and then removes them.  It	treats	temporary
       rejection  as  permanent	 rejection for messages more than
       two weeks old.
